Basketball Tournament - March 2008
The Year 6 children took part in a basketball tournament at Temple Park Leisure Centre and came very close to winning through to the regional final played at the Metro Arena before the Eagles play. Three out of our four teams made it to the quarter finals and Marine Park 1 went one step further and progressed to the semi finals before losing to a strong Hadrian side.

Hoops for Health
The Newcastle Eagles are back in Marine Park to provide coaching for our Year 5 and 6 children. Following the coaching in January, the Eagles players will visit the school to deliver their excellent Hoops for Health programme; a mixture of coaching; fitness and healthy lifestyle choices.
There will be a basketball tournament in March, organised by the Eagles, held at Temple Park which we will be taking part in.
