Sandcastle Challenge 09
'Now and Then' was the theme for the 2009 Sandcastle Challenge at Sandhaven beach where schools from all over the north east of England met up with their professional architect to design a sand sculpture. Two teams were entered by our school, who designed and built a light bulb and candle design whilst our other team built a cave and house comparison. Although we didn't win both creations were absolutely superb. The children worked very hard and behaved, as always, brilliantly!
