Show Racism the Red Card - March 2009
The year 5 and 6 children took part in an excellent day of discussion, thinking, acting and a little bit of football as well, when the Show Racism team visited. Liz provided some fun classroom games before talking about the serious issues of racism and how we deal with it. She showed the children a hard hitting DVD which featured the experiences and thoughts of many of the world's top footballers. Then ex Sunderland skipper Gary Bennett braved the icy winds to give a coaching session to the children.
